From November 2009 to January 2010 a photography workshop took place for the first time at the one world foundation – free education unit in Ahungalla under the direction of Laurent Ziegler (supported by Paint For Life). With the help of ten Pentax SLR digital cameras around 40 pupils were given an insight into the world of photography and got to know professional procedures, from the conception of a project to the presentation of finished works. The workshop took place as part of a graphic design course directed by Prabath Wijesekara De Zoysa. On 28 January the best works were presented to the public as part of a photo exhibition on the owf campus.
