We are conscious that we live in one world which is growing closer and closer. We cannot escape the consequences of this and want to face up to the responsibility, that in this one world there is still a so-called Third World.
We know that travel is a cultural asset and has become a basic requirement of people from the industrialised world. However, we also know that tourism in countries of the so-called Third World is not without its problems. Therefore, we aim to promote a form of tourism which helps both parties and increases mutual understanding.
Guests at Bogenvillya become supporters of the one world foundation. Their contributions for their stay are an active investment in the future and as membership contributions they flow directly into the maintenance and operation of the owf free education unit school facilities.
Travel broadens the mind - in two ways. Our guests, the travellers, extend their horizons and at the same time help our hosts, the inhabitants of developing countries, to improve their education in order to have better chances on the global market. Travel thereby becomes a process of give and take.
